Anglers 12+ need an Oregon license plus the appropriate combined angling tag or Columbia River Basin Endorsement for salmon and steelhead. Buy online through the ODFW portal or in person at any local sporting goods store.
Bag limits vary by fishery and week. Buoy 10, for example, typically opens with a 1-adult limit on hatchery Chinook. Judd will brief you on the specific limits for your date.
Wild steelhead must be released unharmed on nearly all Oregon waters. Hatchery fish (adipose-clipped) may be retained per the daily limit for your zone.
Ocean fishing trips require an Oregon license with the appropriate marine tag. Limits, seasons, and depth restrictions vary — we follow the most current ODFW updates.
Barbless hooks are required in most Columbia and coastal salmon fisheries. Every hook on our boat comes pinched.
Retained salmon and steelhead are recorded on your combined angling tag before you leave the boat. Judd handles all reporting and cleaning.
